Awards and Funding in 2014!!

Ships in the Night! Dance Party made us, Oakland SOL, the beneficiary of their fundraiser Dance party! We are so grateful to the organizers for the funds raised and donated back to SOL as we begin to plan our Summer internship!!

April 2014

Oakland SOL was one of 27 awardees for this year’s People’s New Life Fund Award!This award is organized and funded by the Northern California War Tax Resisters! These brave individuals send the money they would normally send to the Federal government to this fund that supports many different grassroots projects happening in the Northern California region.


Oakland SOL was awarded some monies to run our Summer Youth Internship program!
